in my family, we have VERY weird breakfasts... choices range from sushi to curry!
anyway, my family's favourite breakfast dish is fried rice. this is a yummy, healthy and very quick early morning start and even my 8 year old brother helps out in the making of it! only a few ingredients are needed and like most of my dishes, the options are available for personal variation.

you will need
- a small bowl of cucumber (cut into small cubes)
- a small bowl of sweetcorn (frozen or not! it doesn't matter)
- a small bowl of peas (again, these can be frozen)
- some prawns (these are optional - this can be a vegetarian dish)
- soya sauce (dark and light, quantity by preference)
- some cooked rice (see below for ore information)
in regards to the rice, this dish is perfect when you have some left-over rice from the previous day. if you store this rice in a tupperware in the fridge, it will be perfectly available to you when you want to make some fried rice!
method
in a wok, fry off most vegetables (the ones which will take longer to cook) and add rice with soya sauce. this will take under 5 minutes to do in total and thats pretty much all that to it! it sounds too simple, but breakfast can be that easily tasty!
