its me again and today i want to tell you all about possible my favourite meal of all time. chicken katsu curry is a japanese dish which i originally discovered with my family in an incredible restaurant called 'WOW' in north london. it's a good quality, relatively low priced japanese restaurant which is well worth anyone's money.
so, since discovering chicken katsu curry, i became determined to cook it myself. i searched for months for the perfect curry block and ideal ingredients. after months (no kidding) i finally drew up my list:
- carrots
- bean sprouts
- peppers (orange is my favourite!)
- courgettes
- leeks
- baby corn
- cabbage
- chicken fillets rolled in breadcrumbs
- curry block (Golden Curry is good)
- boiling water
i always cook a stir fry vegetable dish with my oriental dishes, for this, use all or some of the vegetables listed above. you will also need soy sauce. just put it in the wok and toss them around, in under 5 minutes, you'll have a delicious, healthy stir fry!
variation
if you are a pescetarian or only eat fish, try this recipe with salmon (but with no breadcrumbs!) it is just as delicious and probably even healthier ;)
thanks for reading, i hope you enjoy trying out this dish. until next time,
Tx
